Not only is today the first day of Spring (let’s hope the weather realizes this soon), but it’s also the 107th Birthday of Ivar Haglund.  Just in case you do not know who this is, he is the man behind Ivar’s Seafood Restaurant.  Did you know that the first fish n’chips stand on Pier 54 was started back in 1938?  How about that he purchased the Smith Tower in 1976?  Ivar accomplished quite a lot in his lifetime.  CEI would like to wish Ivar a very Happy Birthday!!
